This Privacy Policy explains what personal and technical data we collect when you use our website or install our Web App PMet , why we collect it, and how you can control it. By using patnametroroute.in or the PMet App, you agree to the terms described here.

Data we may collect

• Location information — With your permission we may access coarse or precise location data from your device to provide features such as "Find nearest station" and route directions. Location access is optional; if you deny it the app will still work with reduced functionality.
• Microphone & sound — The PMet App or website requests microphone access only if you use the voice/chat features. Microphone access is disabled by default; the voice chatbot is not currently operational. When enabled, audio is used for converting your voice to text. We do not record audio unless you explicitly start a voice interaction, and we will indicate when voice input is active.
• Usage data & analytics — We collect technical and usage data (for example: pages visited, features used, App installation events, timestamps, and anonymized device identifiers) to improve the service and monitor App installs. Analytics are aggregated and pseudonymized; we do not combine analytics with precise location or microphone audio.
• Optional data you provide — If you contact us (for example via a feedback form or email) you may provide a name, email address, or other information voluntarily. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry unless you give consent for other uses.

How we use the data

• Provide and personalize app features (e.g., nearest station, journey planning).
• Operate and maintain the PMet App and website (including offline caching behaviour).
• Improve performance, diagnose issues, and analyze usage trends using analytics tools.
• Respond to user requests or support inquiries if you contact us directly.

Third-party services

We may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and maps. These third parties may collect information according to their own privacy policies. Examples include analytics platforms and map tile providers. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of those services if you want details on how they process data.

Cookies & local storage

Our site and PMet App use cookies and browser local storage only for necessary functionality (session state, user preferences, App installation flag). No persistent tracking cookies are placed by default. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings to remove local data stored by the app.

Permissions & how to revoke them

You control device permissions from your browser or OS. If you want to revoke location or microphone access:

1. Open your browser settings or device settings.
2. Find Site settings (or App permissions) for patnametroroute.in.
3. Turn off Location and/or Microphone access.

Revoking permissions prevents those features from working but does not delete analytics records previously collected.

Data retention

We retain anonymous analytics and technical logs for up to 24 months to help with debugging and improving the service. If you contact support and provide personal contact information, we will retain that contact information only as long as necessary to respond to your request or as required by law.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, and loss. However no transmission over the Internet or storage system is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete the information.
